It’s only been a week since glamorous racegoers brightened up Aintree, but today the ladies of Scotland were ready to give them a run for their money.
Racing fans made the most of the sunny weather as they stepped out in daring outfits for Ladies Day at the Coral Scottish Grand National at Ayr Racecourse.
The annual event is one of the highlights of the Scottish racing calendar, but it’s not all about the action on the track.
Attendees are hoping to catch the eye of the judges who will be awarding prizes including a three night break for two to Rome to the most stylish lady of the day, and there were certainly plenty to chose from.
